In 1992, the headquarter of ODE left the historical seat in Esino Lario, that is now used as warehouse for materials, and moved to the industrial area of Colico where it still occupies more than 5.000 covered square meters.
The Colico headquarter groups together: Research and Development office, production, quality control, centralized general services of the company, and the warehouses.
ODE's commercial and administration offices are decentralized in Milan and interact in real time with the Colico headquarter thanks to an Intranet line. The creation of this line was aimed at optimizing inner relations, reducing distances with the management and streamlining the process for sending internal news to all operational levels.
ODE also would like to create an Extranet line for suppliers, clients and the distribution network. They will get what they need or where they want to go with a simple mouse click: order and delivery forms, catalogue, news, and references; there is also a section devoted to tourist services for Italian and foreign visitors.
