For over 30 years ODE has based its main activities upon the design, production and sales of solenoid valves. The manufacturing range consists of many different types like direct acting, with pilot control, combined operation and proportional solenoid valves, which are developed and designed with three dimensional CAD CAM systems. The sizes of the valves start from 1/8G and go up to 2G and they are used in a wide variety of applications as for instance coffee machines, compressors, cooling devices, instance irrigation systems, medical equipment etc. Many types of ODE's solenoid valves are customised to the customer's needs. As a matter of fact there are around 3500 different articles.
The valve bodies are manufactured in brass, bronze, stainless steel or in special alloys as well as in plastic materials. The latter ones are often required by the food industry. The seals are offered in PTFE, FKM, NBR, EPDM and even in ruby. The temperature range covered goes from -50°C to 200°C.
The coils are available in all the usual voltages, obviously in AC and DC but also as latching coils. There are versions UL,CE-VDE as well as ATEX approved. Valves for gas have the CE-DVGW and ATEX approval.
