The Research & Development activity plays a crucial role in the success of ODE.
The company has always invested in this field. ODE has an appropriately equipped Research and Development office with five CAD 3D stations; software programs using the finite elements method to carry out structural and magnetic calculations; multichannel data acquisition systems to measure the trend of those parameters determining the valve functioning, e.g. temperature, pressure, response time, current tension, flow.
The Research and Development office consists also a lab equipped to perform life tests of products using fluids (air, water, steam). These tests, together with the calculations, represent the final stage of each new project and ensure the reliability of the finished product.
An operational staff of six highly qualified and experienced designers is in charge of the management of the whole technological resources. They work steadily to meet higher and higher quality and technological goals.
